Throughout recorded history, man has sought to improve himself by various means, including technological, financial, cooperative, and experiential. Much of this improvement is often short-term and limited to a single generation. But, what if you want to give your future offspring a leg up on survival and personal achievement? Could you take on the mantle of mythological gods and remake man in your own image? And not only could you, but would you? In this episode, we examine the controversial practice of eugenics, its advances, its past abuses, and its useful applications in the modern world. We’ll also look at the wide-ranging implications of this scientific endeavor and how eugenics has come to be defined over time.

The practice of assuming yourself special will ultimately lead you to the perception that, in some universal sense, you matter. Not just to your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers, but in the grand scheme of things. Many of us grow out of such thinking but some don’t. And we’ll be discussing such imagined significance this episode as we put the spotlight on a modern example of note. We begin with a brief history of racial dissent in America, including related riots of the 20th century. We then expose the media manipulation of race-oriented events and the defense of minority crime, leading into the main talk on Black Lives Matter, its brief history, protest behavior, criminal inspirations, silencing techniques and, lastly, the question of BLM as a terrorist group.
