TT77: A Nightmare On Elm Street

Are you ready for Freddy? Your handsome hosts sure are and we’ve stayed up WAY too late to bring you the 1984 classic slasher, A Nightmare On Elm Street. So, pick up a bottle and veg out with us as we put to bed some razor-sharp movie trivia, the whiskey spit take, the hotness of availability, ’80s morality, how Matt became a KISS fan, sleepwear advice for ladies, childhood bedroom shockers, the paralyzing fear of herpes, slutty theater girls and other things a crucifix won’t stop. Then, when you wake up — IF you ever wake up — stick around as we rip our way through listener e-mail. Enjoy the show or just our pretty voices. But whatever you do. Don’t. Fall. Asleep.

  1. Another great show fellows. I was happy to hear you read my drink recommendation…Death in the Afternoon. I’ve read in a few places that it’s a man’s man kinda drink…Hell Ernie Hemingway was definitely that. A man’s man, not a drink I mean.

I hope you drink some and get lit on your next episode. Absinthe and champagne…definitely Satany-ish. Here’s a video of a demonic bartender prepping one.

  2. I bought it when it came out. And, hoo boy, is it a long one, clocking in at 4 hours! But, it’s pretty detailed in parts and worth getting if you enjoy the franchise.

  3. Great episode M & J,
this was the first horror movie that i saw at the cinema.Although i was slightly under age at the time i had no problem gaining admittance as i looked older.
Sadly, i’m still looking much older than i really am.
    All the best guy’s.
